Our Story

Mama's Cellar was born from a deeply personal experience. In 2017, our founder Ebony Short faced a formidable challenge when illness threatened to dim her light. In her quest for healing, she discovered an unexpected source of empowerment: pole dancing. Through the fluid movements and graceful strength of this art form, she found a path to reconnecting with her body, mind, and spirit.

Inspired by her own journey, she envisioned a space where women could shed their inhibitions, embrace their authenticity, and celebrate their unique expressions of creativity. Thus, Mama's Cellar was born—a sanctuary where women could gather, explore their passions, and support each other's growth.
